• In a Tuesday article entitled “Opinion release debate has new tone,” the photo cutline should state that Councilman Tim Bynum said the current policy leans too far to the side of secrecy.

Interim Council Chair Jay Furfaro initiated the discussion on the future release of county attorney opinions after hearing concerns from residents last September.

The story should state that the Hawai‘i law that directs the attorney general to make opinions upon questions of law available for public inspection has gone unchallenged for 40 years.

• Sunday’s article “Legislator sounds off on health care woes” (Business, C1-2) should state that Rep. Josh Green is a practicing doctor.
