AYSO offers coaching clinics
The American Youth Soccer Organization will be conducting coaches’ clinics Saturday and again on Aug. 2. These clinics will provide the basic tools and knowledge in becoming an AYSO Coach. The class covers “Team Balancing” and coaching tips for the upcoming season.
The Under 6 and Under 8 divisions will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Island School soccer fields.
The Under 10 division will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., also at Island School.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided and participants are encouraged to dress for practice with sun block, running shoes, a ball and a water bottle.
The season begins on Saturday, Aug. Registration will continue until September.

Koloa PW reopens registration
The Koloa Pop Warner organization has reopened registration for kids aged 8 to 14. Applications will be taken from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of July at the Koloa Ball Park.
