Wilson cards in bogey-free round

Kane‘ohe’s Dean Wilson shot a bogey-free round yesterday to card in 5-under 65 at the AT&T National at the Congressional Country Club.

He heads into the final round tied for ninth at 6-under 204 for the tournament, four strokes off the leader Tom Pernice Jr. (200).

Parker McLachlin headed into yesterday’s round after making eagle on the first hole to finish at 66. Yesterday, though, McLachlin finished at even par, leaving him at 3-under 207 for the tournament.

Wilson tees off today in the third to the last group with fan-favorite Anthony Kim and Cliff Kresge, at 3:41 a.m. HST.

McLachlin tees off with Billy Mayfair and John Merrick at 2:33 a.m. HST.
