Kenneth Chow
Kenneth A.T. Chow of Wailua died June 24, 2008, at Tripler Army Medical Center at the age of 79. Born Sept. 28, 1928, in Hawai‘i, he was a pressman printer for The Garden Island newspaper.
He is survived by wife Martha Huddy Chow of Wailua; daughters Lyndelle (Tommy) Makanai of Kapahi and Darlene (George) Thronas of Wailua; sons Ken Chow of Niumalu, Clayton (Kimberly) Chow of Wailua and Michael (Malia) Chow of Kapahi; hanai daughter Cheryl Doi Kuriki of Kapahi; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers Aki Chow of Aiea and Raymond (Muriel) Chow of Texas; sisters Dorothy Huddy of Kapa‘a and Gladys Davis of North Carolina; sisters-in-law Maizie Chow and Kuki Chow, both of Lihu‘e; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, July 4, at Kapaa First Hawaiian Church. Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Francisco Omaya
Francisco “Cisco” Omaya, 73, of Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i, died June 23 at his residence. Born March 1, 1935, in Waipahu, he was a retired bellman for the Royal Kona Resort and worked part time at Wal-Mart Kona.
He is survived by wife Angeles Omaya of Kailua-Kona; sons Clyde (Shari) Omaya and Mark (Tara) Omaya, all from Kailua-Kona; daughter Francine “Cinco” Omaya of Las Vegas; brothers Dick (Chris) Laranio and Don Laranio of Kaua‘i; sister Consuelo Barilleaux of Ft. Worth, Texas; mother-in-law Arpinia Sampaga of Hilo; sisters-in-law Jane (Clifford) Tam, Veronica (Oren) Kitayama of Pepeekeo, Petty (Derek) Valentino, Nedeen (Danford) Calica of Hilo; brothers-in-law Arthur (Beryl) Sampaga, Clyde (Martha) Sampaga of Hilo; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 8 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona. Reception to follow.

Anastacia Tabura
Anastacia “Tasha” Cabonitas Tabura of Hanama‘ulu died June 25, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Cebu City, Philippines, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend.
She was preceded in death by spouse Vicente Sr. and brothers and sisters from the Philippines.
She is survived by daughters Adelaida (Rudy) Nuevo of the Philippines, Letecia “Tessie” (Willy) Estenzo of Kapa‘a, Josefa “Josie” (Archie) Franks of Texas; sons Max (Arlene) Tabura of Hanama‘ulu, Vicente Jr. (Maureen) Tabura of Kapa‘a, Danny (Dianne) Tabura of Kapa‘a; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at St. Catherine’s Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park in Lihu‘e.
