Aguano finished with high-point honors for Papalina in two games, but Papalina had to settle for a split in the 3 G’s Nation non-competitive 13 and Under league at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
In the first of its two games, Papalina got past Westside 38-21 before falling to Hanakila 28-20 in the nightcap.
Earlier in the evening, Vakeesha Lagazo netted a game-high 11 points to lead Kaulupono Blue to a 48-7 run over the Kamikaze White in the only girls’ game of the night.
Following Lagazo, Arrisa Thronas added 9 points and Sanoe Kaohelaulii finished with 8 points. Cheyanne Duarte, Shayna Alop and Krysta Kali each added 6 points.
Pili Chung topped the Kamikaze effort with 3 points followed by Shyanne Almarza and Kawai Calderon adding a pair each.
Aguano topped the Papalina performance against Westside with 14 points followed by the tall man, Vaughn Thompson adding 10 points in the win.
Peterson Lahip topped the Westside effort with 8 points followed by Dylan Balisacan adding 6 points.
Against Hanakila, Aguano and Kelson Andrade paced the Papalina effort with 6 points apiece followed by Kainoa Simao adding 5 points.
Marlon Cudiamat and Keliikoa Baclayon topped the Hanakila scoring with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
