Hana Hou swept its two games while Custom Limo and Nogi’s finished the week splitting its series.
Hana Hou opened the week with a 24-3 romp over KFD and on Thursday, nudged past Custom Limo 10-9 in the Hawai‘i Government Employees Association mountainball league.
According to results submitted by Joe Bertucci, Custom Limo also opened on a winning note, defeating Nogi’s 18-3 on Tuesday before falling to Hana Hou on Thursday.
Nogi’s was the victim Tuesday night, but rebounded to an 8-1 margin over KFD, Thursday night.
Bertucci noted that Tommie Cox was awarded the Player of the Week award for drawing strikeouts in three straight times at bat.
The public is invited to view the competition and enjoy the camaraderie of the HGEA league on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Isenberg Ball Park.
There is no admission fee.
