A golf tournament will be just one of the features of the Kaumakani Camp Reunion 2008 scheduled for July 5.
Registration for the golf tournament starts at 6:15 a.m. at the Kiahuna Golf Course with tee off starting at 7 a.m.
At 1 p.m., people attending the reunion can start registering at the Kaumakani School Ball Park.
According to the registration form which is available online, the Kaumakani Reunion 2008 is open to any person whose roots stem from any of the Kaumakani Camp 5, Camp 4, Kaumakani Ball Park, Kaumakani School, Haole Camp, Kaumakani Village, Portuguese Camp, Camp 3, Olokele Factory and Camps 1 and 2.
The event extends to include those who also worked at Hawaiian Sugar Company or the Olokele Sugar Company.
In the style of the plantation camps, cost for the event is a $5 donation per person with children under 12 admitted free for the potluck dinner (bring your own drinks) featuring live entertainment, door prizes and talk story.
