Mokihana Aquatics offers free summer membership
The Mokihana Aqautics swimming club will be offering free summer team memberships starting on Monday.
Sessions will be at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Kapa‘a pool and the same times on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the newly renovated Waimea pool.
This will be the first time in 10 years that an age group swim club will be offered in Waimea.
“Mokihana Aquatics is honored to bring back age group to the Westside,” said coach Orlando Anaya.
The requirements to join are as followed:
• The swimmer must be able to swim at least 25 yards or the length of the pool, at any stroke on his stomach.
• Girls must have a one-piece swim suit.

The Club accepting limited registration
The Club at Hanalei Bay Resort is accepting limited registration for its Summer Tennis and Swim Camp. The upcoming session will run from Monday to Friday, June 20. Camp times will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day.

Namolokama hosts Open Water Swim
The Namolokama O’Hanalei Canoe Club will be hosting the 2nd Annual Open Water Swim at Hanalei Pier starting at 9 a.m. on July 26. This community event is for keiki, older youth and adults.
A large turnout is expected and the club stressed the importance of early registration, as there will be a cut-off on the number of participants. For more information or to pre-register, visit www.namolokama.com
Pre-registration must be completed by July 11. Registration forms will be available online and at various surf shops, bike shops and athletic or swim clubs on the island.
