Registration for the 28th annual Ha‘ena to Hanalei Run/Walk is currently being accepted.
Registration forms are available at the Foot Locker, Kaua‘i Athletic Club, Bicycle John, Kaua‘i Cyclery, The Backdoor, Pedal and Paddle, the Bike Doktor and Princeville Health Club and Spa.
Registration is $25 up to the day of the race on June 7. For participants who register at the event, the fee will be $30.
Youth registration is $10. Those registering are eligible for the pancake breakfast which follows the event, and event T-shirts, while supplies last.
For those who just want to enjoy the pancake breakfast, tickets will be available at the gate for $7 per person.
According to a press release from the event organizers, the eight-mile run/walk starts at Ke‘e Beach and ends at the Hanalei Pier.
A shuttle will be available to take participants to the Ke‘e Beach starting line.
Following the run/walk, participants can indulge in an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the Hanalei Canoe Club which is just a short stroll from the finish line.
Prizes will be awarded for the top male and female eight-mile runners and walkers as well as to the top male and female 5K runners.
Ribbons will be presented to winners of their age category in each race.
