William Fuller
William Alfred Fuller III of Princeville died at home on April 19, 2008, at the age of 65. Born on Jan. 13, 1943, in Massachusetts, he was a retired construction worker from Jim Fuller and Family.
Fuller is survived by his wife, Teresa Fuller; step-daughter Marzena (Harald) Hambre of Norway; brother James (Gail) Fuller of Princeville; sisters Patricia Tanguay of New Hampshire and Kathy (Joseph) La Liberte of Florida; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at Kilauea Kingdom Hall on Kolo Road.
The family requests a donation to Kaua‘i Hospice in lieu of flowers.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the Fuller family with arrangements.
Alice Anama
Alice Matsue Anama of Honolulu died on April 17, 2008, in Honolulu at the age of 90. Born Nov. 7, 1917, in Kaua‘i, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by daughter Patricia M. Morita; sons Lawrence Anama, Andrew Anama, Richard Anama, Franklin Anama and Edward Anama; brother Kiyoto Kinoshita; sisters Nancy Sunao Pascador, Ruth Misao Ringor, Tomie Kelekoma, Fujiko Yamamoto and Katherine Kinuyo Oyama; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at O‘ahu Cemetery Chapel. Service begins at 6 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Kaua‘i at Hanama‘ulu Beach Park on Saturday, May 10, at 11 a.m. Private inurnment at Diamond Head Cemetery.
The family requests casual attire and that flowers be omitted. Ultimate Cremation Services of Hawai‘i is assisting with the arrangements.
Takashi Kondo
Takashi “Taka” Kondo of Kaumakani died on April 10, 2008, at home at the age of 78. Born on May 5, 1929, in Makaweli, he was a retired laboratory analyst with Okolele Sugar Plantation.
He was preceded in death by parents Toraji and Chiyo Kondo; brothers Dennis Kaoru Kondo and Mamoru Kondo; and sister Sueko Kondo.
He is survived by sisters Hanako Teraoka of O‘ahu, Mitsue Shishido of O‘ahu, Yuriko Kamibayashi of California, Yoneko Honjo of Kalaheo, Rosaline (John) Teixeira of O‘ahu, Joan (Alan) Choi of O‘ahu; brother Makoto (Bertha) Kondo of O‘ahu; sister-in-law Betty Kondo of Lawa‘i; and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will begin with visitation at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, at Koloa Union Church; service to follow at 11 a.m.
