The Sterling Russell family was happy that someone knew where Corvalis, Ore., (go Beavers!) was when they stopped to chat with Wolfgang Fuller at the Lydgate tower Wednesday.
Now, the Russells are waiting for the Vidinha Stadium farmers market to sample some Yasutake pineapples from Koke‘e (the ones from the MDA were great!).
Wolfgang is retired from Lufstanza Airlines after 30 years as a pilot, working out of San Francisco and Los Angeles. Born in Peru on a sugar plantation, Wolfgang said he’s been visiting here regularly in April or May, and has developed good friendships with Patrick, Ben and Lorraine Lizama.
