Dropping 4-0 against the Ha‘aheo Boys, the BU8 Falcons rebounded for a 2-0 win in the nightcap during the games played last weekend at the North Vidinha soccer fields.
With the split, the BU8 Falcons improve to 3-1-0 for 9 points, a digit ahead of Ha‘aheo Boys (2-2-2) with 8 points.
Westside Pride, 0-2-2 in the standings, enjoyed a bye and rounds out the BU8 division with 2 points.
Ha‘aheo Teeny Wahine, a 5-1 winner over the Kapa‘a Blaze Diamond, is undefeated in the GU8 division with a 4-0-0 record and a dozen points.
With the loss, the Kapa‘a Blaze Diamond drops to 1-4-0 and 3 points.
Kapa‘a Blaze Gold, enjoying a 2-0 shutout over the GU8 Westside Falcons, rests in second place with a 3-2-0 record and 9 points. The GU8 Falcons are 0-3-0 on the season.
