Mokihana Club hosts annual benefit golf scramble
The shotgun start of the 6th Annual Mokihana Club’s Women’s Golf Scramble is set for 8 a.m. on April 12 at the Marriott’s Kaua‘i Lagoons Golf Course.
Proceeds from the Scramble exclusively support the Mokihana Club’s nursing scholarships, which have totaled $30,000 over the last five years, for aspiring student nurses on Kaua‘i.
Reservations are necessary, and early-bird prizes will be awarded.
The $95 entrance fee includes lunch at Duke’s Canoe Club Barefoot Bar and Restaurant, larger-than-ever tee bags and special gifts at the luncheon.
Every golfer gets a prize, with special prizes for the winning team or teams. Participants can purchase Mulligans and Closest-to-the-Pin on par 3’s when registering.
There will also be a drawing for other gifts.
Sponsors wishing to support the nursing scholarship program will be recognized at the event for Birdie (up to $99), Eagle ($100-250), Bronze ($300-500), Gold ($750-1,000), or Platinum ($1,500-2,000) contributions.
