The Pu`uwai Canoe Club, a non-profit organization, will be hosting double-hull canoe races for persons with disabilities on March 1. This event is open to any disabled person, children or adults who would like to paddle up the Wailua River in a double-hulled canoe.
Experienced paddlers will be in every canoe. The event will include games and prizes and lunch will be served. The event is free for people with disabilities. Children will need to have a waiver signed by parent or guardian.
