Karuna Thal memorial planned

Join friends of Karuna Thal in a celebration of her vibrant, joyful life on Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Taro Patch in Anahola. There will be music, hula and potluck. Karuna Thal died Jan. 23, at the age of 59 in Tijuana, Mexico, while seeking treatment for cancer. She had been a holistic health consultant and massage therapist on the island of Kaua‘i for the last 20 years.
