Shannon Joseph Watt
Shannon Joseph Watt of Moloa‘a died unexpectedly at home on Dec. 29, 2007, at the age of 36.
He was born in Alton, Ill., on June 16, 1971, and was employed as the chief engineer at Hanalei Bay Resort.
He is survived by his wife, Wioletta Watt; parents Elbert and Janet Watt of Illinois, brother Jeremy (Cari) Watt; sister Michelle Watt; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Jan. 13, at ‘Anini Beach Pavilion from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The family requests that flowers and leis be brought in Shannon’s memory. Aloha attire requested. Potluck to follow.

George H. Schulze
George H. Schulze of Kilauea died on Dec. 31, 2007, at Wilcox Hospital, at the age of 85.
Born in Bucyrus, Ohio, on May 18, 1922, he worked at Alliance Manufacturing Co. for 31 years before moving to Kaua‘i in 1972. In Ohio, he excelled in the state in horseshoes and bowled in a state tournament with a perfect 300. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army.
On Kaua‘i, he worked as maintenance supervisor at Prince Kuhio Resort, residence manager at Pali Ke Kua, and residence manager at Lihu‘e Townhouses. He drove a school bus for 19 years for Yamaguchi Bus Co.
He became a long-distance runner with 170 races to his credit, including four marathons. He participated in the World Masters Track & Field Meet in Eugene, Ore., in 1989, and in Turku, Finland, in 1991.
He was a volunteer for the American Heart Association, president of the YMCA Ballroom Dance Club, track coach at Kilauea School, a 28-year member of East Kaua‘i Y’s Men’s Club, trained as a CERT member of Kilauea, and was a charter member of the North Shore Christian Church in Kilauea. He earned an associate degree in carpentry at Kaua‘i Community College and excelled in making handmade rocking horses for children and shoe racks for gifts.
He leaves his wife, Donna, whom he married in 1970; children Melodye (Karl) Dabney of Eugene, Ore., Happy (Lydia) Holden of Loveland, Colo., Jolly (Lynda) Holden of Marietta, Ga., Gay (Glenn) Petrini of Hollywood, Fla., Cathy Casas of Caldwell, Texas, Honey (BC) Charles of Hanama‘ulu, and Joey Swanson of Honolulu; 15 grandchildren and one hanai grandchild; two nieces; one nephew; and 23 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the North Shore Christian Church in Kilauea.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ohana YMCA of Kaua‘i Building Fund will be gratefully accepted.
Bruce O’Donnell
Bruce Gerald O’Donnell of Kapa‘a died at home on Dec. 28, 2007, at the age of 51.
He was born in Boston, Mass., on Dec. 12, 1956, and was employed by Honolulu Police Department for 20 years and retired with Kaua‘i Police Department after five years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Joni O’Donnell; sons Lloyd P. Albinio Jr. of Kapa‘a and Lloyd J. K. Albinio of Honolulu; siblings Mary, Ruth, Ellen, Peter, Catherine, David, Tim, Hugh, John, Leo, Grace; grandchildren Keanu Albinio, Leiani Lynn and Haley Hokulani; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Kapa‘a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Services will begin at 2 p.m. The family requested casual attire and declines flowers. Inurnment will be private.

Geraldine Reuarin
Geraldine Reuarin of Lihu‘e died at her home on Jan. 1, 2008, at the age of 55.
Born Dec. 24, 1952, in Lihu‘e, she was a meat cutter for Big Save in Lihu‘e, also coached soccer and helped special needs children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emily Fernandez Sr. She is survived by her husband, Andy Reuarin Sr.; daughters Sonya Ortiz, Kimmie (Kevin) Cabreira and Corina (Jonathan) Wong; sons Andy (Robin) Reuarin Jr. and Ace Reuarin; 14 grandchildren; brothers George (Chica) Fernandez Jr, Joseph (Monique) Fernandez, and William Fernandez; sisters Julia Fernandez, Anna-Beatrice (Bobby) Rita and Rosalie (James) Yamamoto; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at King’s Chapel in Hanama‘ulu, where services will be at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and suggests casual attire. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Alejandrino L. Iglesia
Alejandrino L. Iglesia of Kapa‘a died Jan. 1, 2008, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 66.
Born Aug. 9, 1941, in the Philippines, he was in landscaping.
He is survived by his wife, Carlina Iglesia; sons Chato (Cynthia) Iglesia, Albert (Marylou) Iglesia, Alex Iglesia, Arnel Iglesia and Julius (Kharen) Iglesia; daughters Arlene (Gene) Mortera, Amy Iglesia and Mylene (Jay) Camarillo; brother Jesus (Letty) Iglesia; and 15 grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and again on Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Albert. Burial is to follow at St. Catherine’s Church Cemetery in Kealia.

Constantino Eduria Lagoc
Constantino Eduria Lagoc of Lihu‘e died Dec. 29, 2007, at his home at the age of 72.
Born Sept. 26, 1935, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was a plantation worker.
Preceded in death by his parents, Domingo and Juana Lagoc, his brother Felimon Lagoc and brother-in-law Abraham Ibalio. He is survived by his wife, Elia Lagoc of Lihu‘e; daughters Thelma (Irineo Soriano) Pascual of Lihu‘e, Ciony (Mark) Lagoc-Williams of Honolulu, Lydia (James) Guess of Virginia and Elisa (Lawrence) Lagoc-Chang of Hanama‘ulu; sisters Romana (Santiago) Rivera of California, Flordeliza (Nelson) Salud of California and Aurea Ibalio of Chicago; brothers Peter (Arleen) Lagoc of California and Rosario (Edita) Lagoc of the Philippines; sister-in-law Magdalena Lagoc of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
