KALAHEO n A 20-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday for first-degree robbery at Kalaheo Pharmacy, county officials said. According to police, Brandy Silva of Kapa‘a entered the pharmacy with her face partially covered by a scarf at around 5:25 p.m. Wednesday.

According to police, Brandy Silva of Kapa‘a entered the pharmacy with her face partially covered by a scarf at around 5:25 p.m. Wednesday. While wielding a knife, Silva reportedly demanded that the on-duty pharmacist and pharmacy technician provide her with some narcotics.
Police reported that pharmacy personnel responded by speaking calmly to Silva, subsequently taking the knife away from her.
When police arrived, Silva was arrested. She was later referred to a doctor at Kalaheo Clinic for a medical evaluation.
No one was injured in the incident.
Pharmacy staff declined to comment for this report.
