Mary Ann Lopes, of Hanama‘ulu, died Nov. 25, 2007, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 49.
Born Nov. 14, 1958, in Lihu‘e, she was a cashier.
She is survived by her husband Alfred Lopes Jr.; sons Kalani (Saddie) Kiilau, Dustin (April) Lopes and Alfred Lopes; daughter Leila (Darin) Kimmel; 10 grandchildren; mother Lily Kiilau; brothers Lance (Sandy) Kiilau, Joseph Kiilau, George Kiilau and Danny (Lisa) Kiilau; sisters Cindy (Yasu) Morikawa, Wendy (Warren) Frisbee and Leah (Jojo) Pillos; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Lihu‘e Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow

Francisco B. Jacinto, of Koloa, died Nov. 26, 2007, at his home at the age of 87.
Born Aug. 18, 1920, in the Philippines, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Emilia Jacinto; daughters Charito (Ramon) Arrigo, Emelda (James) Bennett, Ruby Colleran, and Mercedes (Robert) Davenport; sons Fernandico (Isidra) Jacinto, Rafael Jacinto, Julius (Melda) Jacinto; sisters Enriqueta Nicolas and Corazon Jacinto; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa, where memorial services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Koloa Public Cemetery.

John Simao of Hanapepe died Nov. 23, 2007, at his home in Hanapepe at the age of 86.
Born Aug. 8, 1921, in Makaweli, he was a tour driver.
He is survived by his wife Norma Simao of Hanapepe; sons Gary Simao of Lihu‘e and Randall (Edwina) Simao of Hanapepe; daughters Judy (Chris) Earl of Virginia and Jayne (Douglas) Domen of Kapa‘a; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marian Simao Baptiste of Kalaheo died Nov. 28, 2007, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 77.
Born Oct. 16, 1930, in ‘Ele‘ele, she was a farm worker.
She is survived by sons Richard (Roxann) Baptiste, Rodney (Jorae) Baptiste, and Anthony Baptiste; brother Bernard (Mary Jane) Simao; sisters Beatrice Silva, Dorothy Costa, Bernice Perreira and Margaret Reis; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m by Father Nap. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery.

Federico Afaga Macadangdang Sr.
Federico Afaga Macadangdang Sr. of Hanama‘ulu died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 29, 2007, at the age of 84.
He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Dec. 14, 1922, and retired as a school teacher in the Philippines after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Damiana; children Lerma (Honorato) DelaCruz of the Philippines, Rolando (Linda) Macadangdang of the Philippines, Edna (Andrew) Georghiades of Greece, Priscilla (Rudy) Soriano of the Philippines, Emmanuel (Susan) Macadangdang of Honolulu, Lilybeth (Nico) DelaCruz of the Philippines, Federico (Joanna) Macadangdang Jr. of Kaua‘i, Helen (Willy) Galiza of Kaua‘i; brother Domingo Macadangdang of the Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, at The Salvation Army on Hardy Street with visitation from 6 p.m. and services celebrated at 8 p.m. Burial will take place in the Philippines in Bacarra Cemetery.

Linda Kay Lemke
Linda Kay Lemke of Kapa‘a died on Nov. 20, 2007, at the age of 52.
She was born on July 12, 1955, in Nebraska and previously worked for Hawaiian Airlines. Linda graduated from Northwest High School in Grand Island, Neb., and attended Kearney State in Nebraska and also Kaua‘i Community College.
She is survived by her husband Paul, sons Nahio and Taylor; brother Mark Taylor of O‘ahu; sister Diana Howard of Palmer, Neb.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda is predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Barbara Taylor.
A celebration of her life will be held on Dec. 15 at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and services celebrated at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. Aloha or casual attire is suggested.
