Nordmeier is one of the spearheads of a Waimea Town cleanup and installation of lights project that will enhance the town’s annual Christmas Light Parade coming up Dec. 22.
According to a release from Nordmeier, the group also needs use of “a couple of eight-foot stepladders for installation of the lights, flat shovels, weed whackers. People who have front-throw lawnmowers are also asked to bring them along to the project.
Installation of the lights will start at 8 a.m., and the town cleanup will start at 9 a.m. Both projects will start from the Hofgarrd Park located across the main highway from Ishihara Market.
Refreshments, water, juice and snacks will be provided.
