Bridge clubs release weekly results

Members of and visitors to the North Shore and Poalua Duplicate Bridge Clubs play every Thursday at Sun Village behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital at 9 a.m.

This is the oldest bridge club on the island, and visitors are always welcome to play.

Results for Thursday’s event are: Second- and third-helpings of food, no game, Happy Thanksgiving.

The Sunrise Club plays each Thursday at the new Princeville Community Center in Princeville promptly at 9 a.m.

The club welcomes North Shore visitors and part-time vacationers.

Results for Thursday’s event are: Full bellies, no game, Happy Thanksgiving.

The Sunset Club plays each Saturday (Open Game) at the Community Building in Princeville across from the library promptly at 1 p.m.

This long-established club is convenient and conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players.

Results for Saturday’s five-table, 20-player sanctioned event are: First, Jane Go and Steve Angeleno; Second, Francine Donahue and Loring Harkness.

Members of the Ka Haku o Hawaii Bridge Club play the second and fourth Mondays of every month.

The games start promptly at 9 a.m. and visitors are especially welcome.
