Jamilee Jimenez had a great football game Friday night and was still able to get up for the Walk, Saturday. The third best sharpshooter in the state, Jason Cabot, was also on hand for the Walk, and Darren Oda is a great asset to Troop 83. Myles Uyesono and Lyle Tabata had the Troop 148 Scouts under control, and Mary Lardizabal’s Kapa‘a Middle School chorus did a great job with the national anthem…don’t forget their fund-raising festival, Sunday at the Kapa‘a Middle School campus.
Lori Almarza didn’t make it to the game, but got to ooh and aah with Anahola Joel Pahukula as did Zack Octavio. Hats off to Lori, Loretta Geis and Scott Giarman on another great walk!
Speaking of walks, Eddie Sarita has the perfect Christmas tree for the mayor at the Kalepa cemetery. Eddie was on hand with the Hanama‘ulu boys, Angel Madrid, Ben Alayvilla, Killah Delos Reyes, Tono Duterte, Peter Rayno and Atta Maghanoy who got to meet with Michael Tresler of Grove Farm to thank the coach for Grove Farm’s contribution of materials for the Kalepa cemetery shed. And where was Ernie Domingo?
Meanwhile, the rest of the Wal-Mart crew are already making plans for Halloween night … you gotta have a costume.
Happy Halloween, Kaua‘i! Gwen Carveiro is already into the Christmas mode.
