Police are looking for one of four residents arrested Oct. 23 on methamphetamine trafficking charges.
Vice and Narcotics Section Lt. Eric Shibuya with the Kauai Police Department said Timothy Jeffrey, 35, of Koloa, was arrested for second-degree methamphetamine trafficking Oct. 18, for which he was freed after posting $10,000 bail.
Police seized his car in the Oct. 18 arrest and obtained a warrant to inspect it. Police allege they additionally found two ounces — enough methamphetamine to file additional charges of first-degree drug trafficking — as well as a weapon, which yielded felony possessing a firearm and illegal place to store firearm charges. The street value of what police say they confiscated from Jeffrey’s possession is between $3,500 to $7,000, Shibuya said.
Police don’t believe Jeffrey is armed, but he should be considered dangerous.
Jeffrey was last seen in the Kapa‘a area and is believed to either be there or in Lihu‘e.
Vice officers on Oct. 23 also arrested Tiphany Boissiere, 31, and Lacilee Nobriga, 21, both from Puhi, on second-degree methamphetamine trafficking charges and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Doreen Caberto, 33, of Lawa‘i, was arrested on third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.
Nobriga was released after having posted $15,000 bail; Boissiere was unable to post the same amount. Caberto is also behind bars as she was unable to post her bail amount of $10,000.
