Limahuli Garden invites residents and visitors to a free seminar “What’s Ono to O‘opu?” by Cory Yap, aquatic researcher at the University of Hawai‘i-Manoa.
Yap will explore the diet of the native o‘opu, share information on his innovative research procedures and on ways the public can help keep the precious fish from becoming endangered, according to a press release.
The seminar will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Limahuli Hale (next to Cold Pond), 5-8301 Kuhio Hwy., in Ha‘ena.
