Rose Teves of ‘Oma‘o, died Sept. 4, 2007, at Hale Kupuna, at the age of 94.
Born Feb. 14, 1912, in Hawai‘i, she was an inspectress for housekeeping.
She is survived by her caregiver Deana (Isaac) Silva; grandchilden Bob Olah, Laurie Ruble, Joe Olah, Gloria Teves and Christopher Teves; great grandchildren Isaac “Koa Boy” Silva, III, Keanna Silva, Levi Silva, Malachi Silva, Joshua Silva, and Kailah Silva.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at St. Caherine Church in Kapa‘a, where Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherine Church Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Steven Wendell Sasaki of Kalaheo died at his home on Sept. 1, 2007, at the age of 54 .
Born in Lihu‘e on Sept. 16, 1952, he was a traffic marker with the County of Kauai.
Preceded in death by his mother Hideko Sasaki, he is survived by his wife Brenda; son Kevin Sasaki of Kalaheo; two daughters ShyAnn (Justin) Shinn of Puhi and Storm Sasaki of O‘ahu; three grandchildren; father William Sasaki of Lawa‘i; two sisters Lori (Stanley) Valoroso and Robbin (Neal) Matsuyama both of Wailua; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are private.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
