Gail Troester
Gail Troester, 64, of Lihu‘e died Aug. 25, 2007, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1943, in New York.
She is survived by her husband Phil Troester of Lihu‘e; daughters Cathy (Steve) Seidenberg of New Jersey; Dianne Lisboa of Florida; and Karen (Kim) Saronitman of Kapa‘a; and seven grandchildren.
The viewing will be at 5:30 p.m.
There will be a celebration of Gail’s life this evening at Lydgate Park in Wailua starting at 6 p.m. A scattering and potluck will follow.
Attire is aloha, and the family requests lei and loose flowers.
Borthwick Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Nicasio Balisacan
Nicasio Agmata Balisacan of Kapa‘a died Aug. 16, 2007, at his home at the age of 96.
Born Dec. 14, 1910, in the Philippines, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife Erlinda Balisacan; son Arnel (Jackie) Balisacan; daughters Lorelei (Rey Tumamao) Balisacan and Evelyn (Burt Ines) Balisacan; grandson Chasen Tumamao and granddaughter Jada Ines; numerous nieces and nephews; Spottie and Kui-Girl.
Family and friends may visit with the family from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa and again from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
