Soccer players from 11 years old to 16 years old are invited to try out for the Olympic Development soccer Program.
Tryouts will take place Aug. 18 and Aug. 19 at the Island School soccer fields from 10 a.m. to noon, and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, the schedule is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Tryout T-shirts will be supplied to players who register on time, but players are asked to bring their own soccer ball.
Players should also wear soccer shorts, shinguards, soccer shoes and socks.
Players also need to bring their own water, and sunscreen is recommended during the tryouts.
Registrations will be accepted until the check-in, an hour before the first session. Players wishing eligibility for the event T-shirt need to register and pay no less than seven days before the starting date.
