Hanapepe United Church of Christ is sponsoring a Vacation Bible Adventure for children ages 3 through 14, Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20. The church fellowship hall (on the Kaumuali‘i Highway across from the Hanapepe Fire Station) “will be turned into a WaterWorks Theme Park where children participate in water park attractions as they learn how to ride the wave of God’s love,” states a recent release from the church.
Each day from 8 a.m. to noon children will visit all the fun park attractions: Splash-tacular Bible Memory and Music, Snow Mountain ‘cool’ reproducible activities, Raging River outdoor games, Gift and Souvenir Shop crafts, Bible Bay Story Drama, Coconut Island Puppet Theatre and the Snack Shack.
The church’s release states, “at Vacation Bible Adventure children will come to know how deeply God loves them and how exciting it is to be loved by God.
They will experience God’s tremendous power through hands-on Bible stories, everyone of which demonstrates a miracle God did using water, in order to show His love for His people.”
