The 10th annual Kauai Family Ocean Fair will be celebrated June 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kilauea Point Lighthouse.
The free family-oriented event provides fun, hands-on learning about Hawai‘i’s marine environment through exhibits, demonstrations, crafts, workshops and more.
This year’s event will also celebrate the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s 200th anniversary. Lots of other activities are planned. The event is sponsored by NOAA’s Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, and the Kilauea Point Natural History Association.
