Clyde Nakaya, vice president and commercial banking officer for Central Pacific Bank, took advantage of a lunchtime meeting of the golf committee to present CPB’s title sponsor check for $5,000, yesterday.
The 23rd Annual CPB/The Arc of Kaua‘i Golf Tournament will be played on June 24 at the Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course with proceeds to benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities. Registration for the tournament starts at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun tee-off starting at 8:30 a.m.
Tournament format is a two-person team, best ball with 80 percent handicap. Registration is $95 per person which includes green fees, golf cart and lunch.
Earlier, Wal-Mart presented the tournament committee with the grand prize of a large-screen color television.
