Bridge club wrap-up

The Sunrise Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Thursday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 9 a.m. The club welcomes visitors and part-time vacationers. For playing partners or information, call Barbara Adair at 826-5115.

Results for Thursday’s four table, 16 player event are: First, Rob Van Ekeren and Judy Smith; Second, Betty and Bill Carroll, Jane Oehm and Susan Worth.

The ACBL-sanctioned Sunset Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Saturday (open game) at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 1 p.m. This long-established club conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players. For playing partners or information, call Barbara Adair at 826-5115.

Results for Saturday’s, five table, 20 player event are: First, Judy and RC Smith; Second, Lolita Horney and Loring Harkness.

Members of the Ka Haku o Hawaii Bridge Club play the second and fourth Mondays of every month. The games start promptly at 9 a.m. and visitors are especially welcome. For further information or to find a partner please call Jane Nearing Go at 826-9753.

Results for the May 14 Howell-Movement game are: First, Loukas Fytros and Pat Burgess; Second, Ilse Rothschild and Leslie Miskill; Third, Glenda Lewis and Lolita Horney.

Members of and visitors to the Poalua and North Shore Duplicate Bridge Clubs play every Thursday at Sun Village behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital at 9 a.m.
