Aaron Tranilla, in only his second appearance at the Garden Isle R/C races, was able to top the Monster Truck B division at the Sunday races.
Of the field of five winners, three top qualifiers commanded the track as Dennis Ginez, topping the 1/8 4WD Nitro Buggy A class, earned two of the three TQ laurels.
His second TQ honor came in the 1/8 4WD Nitro Truggy class where he finished second to Aaron Arizo.
Paul Vidinha, being bested by three other racers in the 1/8 4WD Nitro Monster Truck A class, earned the second TQ honor despite being bested by John Vidinha, Bongie Gorospe and Jose Ancheta.
According to Arnold Morales of the Garden Isle R/C racers, the top slot in the 1/8 4WD Nitro Monster Truck A class belonged to Vidinha for the second straight outing.
Meanwhile, Arizo’s win in the Nitro Truggy class was hard-fought as lead changes throughout the race kept racers pushing their vehicles to the limit before Arizo crossed the line in first place.
Aaron Tranilla topped the field of the 1/8 4WD Nitro Monster Truck B division over the efforts of Don Almadova, Kaimana Gandeza and Ray Gandeza.
Seth Morales was the winner in the 1/8 4WD Nitro Buggy B division.
