Residents who know of someone who goes “that extra mile,” or has dedicated themselves to their community selflessly through volunteer work, should get their pens and paper handy.
Hui Laka, the community group that operates Koke’e Natural History Museum in Koke’e State Park, is seeking for nominations for its 2007’s “One Person Can Make A Difference” Awards.
The categories are:
• Volunteer Youth, for those 18 and younger
• Volunteer Environmental
• Volunteer Cultural and Historical
• Volunteer Group
• Professional
