American Youth Soccer Association registration will take place this weekend at various locations around the island.
AYSO Region 940 registration for players in the Waimea, Hanapepe, Kalaheo, Koloa and Lihu‘e areas can pre-register online at www.AYSOKauai.org. There is a $5 discount for online registrants.
Registration fee is $50 per child with discounts available for multi-family and special pricing for Under 16 and Under 19 players.
AYSO soccer is open to players from 41/2 to 19 years old.
AYSO Region 940 will host registration at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center on Friday and May 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Saturday and May 12, registrars will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registrars will also be on hand at the Waimea Neighborhood Center on June 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Opening day for the AYSO fall soccer season is Aug. 18.
