Roger Ferguson

Roger Dewey Ferguson of Kea‘au, Hawai‘i, formerly of Kaumakani, died Thursday, April 19, at Hilo Medical Center.

Born in Rochester, Minn., on April 29, 1934, he was a retired field supervisor for C. Brewer. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Naomi Ferguson of Kea‘au; sons David Ferguson of Kea‘au, Michael Ferguson of Kea‘au and Paul (Trina) Ferguson of Bakersfield, Calif.; daughter Renee (Richie McGowan of Bakersfield; mother Murriel Peterson of Enterprise, Ala., and three grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Borthwick Hawai‘i Funeral Home in Hilo.

The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.

Arrangements were made by Borthwick Hawai‘i Funeral Home.
