Chittenden shoots a hole-in-one at Wailua

Ron Chittenden, one of the regular players of the 40-member Wednesday Golf Club, had a hole-in-one on the 14th hole of the Wailua Golf Course on April 4, using a 5 wood.

Chittenden received his recognition from club president Mike Taylor, yesterday at a club celebration.

Kiahuna Golf Club announces an ace

The Kiahuna Golf Club announced yesterday that David Collins shot a hole-in-one. Collins, of Duxbury, Mass., shot the hole-in-one last month. Collins used a 6-Iron and Top Flite XL ball on the seventh hole for 157 yards.

Lihu‘e Pop Warner looking for PW coach

Tomorrow is the deadline for individuals interested in becoming head coach for the Lihu‘e Pop Warner Association’s Pee Wee tackle football program.
