Bridge club wrap-up

The Sunrise Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Thursday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 9 a.m. The club welcomes visitors and part-time vacationers. For playing partners or information, call Barbara Adair at 826-5115.

Winners of the four-and-a-half table, 18-player event April 5 were: First, Judy Smith and R.C. Smith; Second—Glenda Lewis and Ilse Rothschild.

The ACBL-sanctioned Sunset Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Saturday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 1 p.m. This long-established club conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players. For playing partners or information, call Barbara Adair at 826-5115.

Winners of the four-and-a-half table, 18-player event April 7 were: First — Jane Go and Steve Angelone; Second — Francine Donahue and Loring Harkness.

Members of and visitors to the Poalua and North Shore Duplicate Bridge Clubs play every Thursday at Sun Village behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital at 9 a.m.

This is the oldest bridge club on the island, and visitors are always welcome to play. To find a partner or for more information, please call Jane Nearing Go at 826-9753, or Betty Moore at 245-1994.

Winners of the 32 player eight table game Thursday were: North/South — First, Lil Riley and Deborah Byrnes; Second, Lolita Horney and Janet Rauchut. East/West — Patty Ficker and Lenda Helser; Second, Sarah Rogers and Richard Dolbeare.

Members of the Ka Haku o Hawaii Bridge Club play the second and fourth Mondays of every month. The games start promptly at 9 a.m. and visitors are especially welcome. For further information or to find a partner call Jane Nearing Go at 826-9753.
