In recognition of April as Fair Housing Month, the Housing Agency is offering a free training session for housing providers.
Designed for landlords, tenants, resident and property managers, association board members and housing agents, the workshop is scheduled for April 24, 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lihu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, conference rooms A and B.
Current information on equal housing opportunities will be covered during the training session.
Featured speakers include representatives from the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission, Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Anyone interested in attending the fair housing training should register by Friday. Seating is limited.
