KAPA‘A — The Wave Riders made a strong effort, but fell to the Fireballs who swept the weekend series at the Kaua‘i YMCA Inline Hockey games.
Tyler Lewis, scoring once Friday, went on to net two goals Sunday to lead the Fireballs who swept the Mites division games with a 2-0 win Friday and a 3-2 edge Sunday.
Prisma Verzosa netted the second Friday goal for the Fireballs with Nina Anthony gracing the win Sunday.
