John Vidinha clutched his lead in all three mains to end up with the Top Qualifier honors as well as leader of the 4WD Nitro Monster Truck A class Sunday in Wailua.
Vidinha topped his division, one of five competitive classes, at the latest running of the Garden Isle R/C off-road series at the Wailua track located just makai of the moto-cross track.
Kaimana Gandeza, the youngest racer in the field, finished at the top of the 4WD Nitro Monster Truck B class.
Aaron Arizo topped the 4WD Nitro Buggy B Class as well as earning Top Qualifier honors and first place in the 4WD Nitro “Truggy” class.
The “Truggy” is a hybrid between a monster truck and a dune buggy.
Arnold Morales rounded out the list of winners by earning Top Qualifier honors and first place in the 4WD Nitro Bugg A competition.
