HONOLULU — The University of Hawai‘i Rainbow baseball team opens its Western Athletic Conference schedule today against the University of Nevada Wolf Pack.
The ‘Bows will play a three-game series, ending Sunday.
Koloa’s Mark Rodrigues is expected to be the starting pitcher in tomorrow’s game.
The ‘Bows concluded their early non-conference schedule with a four-game sweep of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, improving their record to 19-8, winning their last four games and 10 of their last 12.
Meyvn Skate contest deadline tomorrow
The deadline to sign up for the Meyvn Skate contest is tomorrow. However, last minute sign ups with be accepted on Mar. 31, the day of the event, at 9 a.m.
The age divisions go from 9 and under to teens, to the non-age division “Best Trick.”
This is the first of four skate contests for Meyvn.
It is $15 to enter. Meyvn partnered with the County of Kaua‘i and Leadership Kaua‘i for this contest. They also have numerous sponsors.
Professional skater Chris Senn will be a guest judge.
