The Zonta Club of Kaua‘i is an international service organization of executives in business and the professions, whose mission is to advance the status of women worldwide.
The Zonta Club of Kaua‘i will award several $1,000 merit-based scholarships to young women on Kaua‘i. Applications are available at all high school counselors’ offices on Kaua‘i. Deadline for application is Wednesday.
Need-based KCC Scholarship applications are also available at Kaua‘i Community College for women returning to the workforce. This $1,000 scholarship is based on financial need, as well as aptitude. This application deadline is also Wednesday.
The Zonta Club of Kaua‘i would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who participated in, donated to, or attended the annual Eat Dessert First fundraiser on Feb. 9. Proceeds from that event make these scholarships possible.
