LIHU`E — Calling all high school seniors! Planning to major in business or a business-related field? The Kaua`i Chamber of Commerce is offering three $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors planning to enroll full-time in any two- or four-year institution of higher learning and major in business or a business related field.
The scholarship funds will be generated from the Chamber’s 4th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on June 10, at Po‘ipu Bay Golf Course.
Scholarship applications are available at the Chamber Office at 2970 Kele Street, Suite 112, Lihu`e (former Lihu`e Plantation Building, behind First Hawaiian Bank in Lihu‘e). Anyone who would like to have copies of the application placed at any school, can call 245-7363.
Completed applications must be mailed to the Scholarship Committee at the Kaua`i Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 1969, Lihu`e, HI 96766, or 2970 Kele Street, Suite 112, Lihu`e, HI 96766, postmarked no later than May 5.
The Chamber is still accepting hole sponsors, donations, and golfers for its tournament. Hole sponsorship/donation and golfer registration forms are available at the Chamber Office or by calling 245-7363.
