High school and college students 16 or older can gain summer work experience through the county’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
Applications are now available and due by April 20.
The Department of Personnel Services offers a wide range of positions across various departments, mainly recreation aides.
Positions for interns, clerical workers, golf course aides, lifeguards and a limited number of jobs in the private sector are also available.
Supervisory positions are available for qualified adults as program coordinators and site managers for the County’s Summer Enrichment Program as well.
Each of the six-week programs starts some time in June.
All applicants selected for employment are required to pass a drug-screening test and complete a fingerprinting and criminal history record check.
