The Mokihana Club’s Winter Concert features concert pianist Dr. Timothy Lee Sunday at the Lihue United Church Parish Hall at 7 p.m.
Born and raised in Sacramento, Calif., Lee began studying piano at the age of 9 but did not perform in public until 40 years later.
The ophthalmologist and his wife live in Po‘ipu with their young daughter, where he enjoys his koi, gardening and photography.
Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students, and free for 10 and under.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Mokihana Club’s Music Scholarship Program to help KCC students further their music education. A donation will also be given to the Aloha Medical Mission.
Complimentary tea, cookies and an opportunity to mingle with Lee and his family will be available following the performance.
