Dorothy “Dora” Cataluna
Dorothy “Dora” Cataluna of Hanama‘ulu died at home on Jan. 31, 2007 at the age of 84.
Born in Lihu‘e on Jan. 24, 1923, she was a custodian with State of Hawai‘i.
Preceded in death by her husband Augustine “Jiggs” Cataluna, she is survived by son Clayton Cataluna of Hanama‘ulu; two daughters, Carol (Domi) Alayvilla of Hanama‘ulu and Linda Cataluna of Puhi; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where Mass officiated by Father Don Merrifield will begin at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Casual attire is suggested.
