State Department of Land and Natural Resources enforcement officers will conduct live fire range exercises all next week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, at the Kekaha National Guard Firing Range in Mana.
Chairman Peter Young said the exercises are part of normal training.
The public is not permitted to enter the range during the hours of the exercises.
DLNR officials will post orange cones along both sides of the range, and a red flag will be raised from the highest point on the range.
The range is 1 mile west of ‘Akialoa and Kaumuali‘i Highway.
