Bridge club results released

Members of the Ka Haku o Hawaii Bridge Club play the second and fourth Monday of every month at Hanalei Bay Resort at 9 a.m. Visitors are always welcome; members and guests meet at 8 a.m. to visit and have breakfast. For playing partners or additional information, call Jane Nearing Go at 826-9753.

Members of the North Shore and Poalua Duplicate Bridge Clubs meet every Thursday at Sun Village behind Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihu‘e at 9 a.m. This is the oldest bridge club on the island and visitors are always welcome to play. North-South winners of Thursday’s 28-table Mitchell Movement were as follows. First: Jane Nearing Go and Betty Moore. Second: Earl Reeve and David Conklin. In East-West play: First, Jim and Coleen Lawshe. Second, Al and Evie Davis.

The Sunrise Duplicate Bridge Club plays each Thursday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 9 a.m. The club welcomes visitors and part-time vacationers. For playing partners or information, call Lolita Horney at 826-6805.

Results for the Thursday’s 20 player event are: First: Charlie Herbert and RC Smith. Second: Tie between Glenda Lewis, Lolita Horney and Gail and Rob Van Ekeren.

The Sunset Duplicate Bridge Club (ACBL sanctioned) plays each Saturday at the Church of the Pacific Hall in Princeville at 1 p.m. This club conducts friendly and competitive play for all island players. For playing partners or information, call Lenda Helser at 828-0609.

Results for Saturday’s six table, 24-player club event are: First, Tie between Loring Harkness, Hank Goldstein and David Conklin, Earl Reeve. Second, Judy and RC Smith.
