Tammy Pu‘u, president of the Kaua‘i All Girls Rodeo Association, will call the general membership meeting to order Jan. 11 starting at 7 p.m.
The meeting at the Lihu‘e Neighborhood Center marks the start of the eighth year for KAGRA which operated under the non-profit status of the the Kaua‘i YMCA.
Jan. 21 is the first KAGRA rodeo scheduled for the CJM Country Stables in Po‘ipu. That rodeo will start from 10 a.m. There is no admission fee for the rodeo.
KAGRA members range in age from grade schoolers to grandmothers with the goal of providing girls and women an equal opportunity to participate in the Great American Sport of Rodeo.
In addition to Pu‘u, other KAGRA officers include Shan Mundon, vice president, Marti Snyder, treasurer, Charlene Medeiros, rodeo secretary and Linda Antipala, recording secretary.
