HANAPEPE — The Kapa‘a Warriors’ junior varsity soccer squads completed a four-game sweep Saturday with an 8-0 win in the girls’ contest and a 4-1 edge in the boys’ matchup.
Larissa Crain netted three goals to lead the Warrior girls, followed by Seri Niimi-Burch scoring a pair of goals. Dakota Barnett, Virginia Taylor and Jessica Lactaotao each added a goal.
Trevor Guttman set the pace for the Kapa‘a JV boys with a pair of goals in their win. He got help from Cameron Zulevic and Joe Enrique, who each netted a score.
Kekoa Canute kept Waimea from being shut out with a score.
Waimea will host Kaua‘i High School at Hanapepe Stadium at 10:45 a.m. Saturday.
