At that CKMS event, Nikki Acoba only has about 30 of her money magic mangrove arrangements left. Then, it’s basketball practice time. Anna Chong was busy helping with their homemade cards and helping Gail Thompson put together those Auntie Ono cookie doughs. Gayle Konishi had Vicky Ramos helping at the event …h ow come those earrings featuring the fly-tying abilities of George Ramos got missed?
Peter Rayno (no sign of Ernie Domingo anywhere) was helping sell some of their unique T-shirts (Puhi girl, Lihu‘e girl and some historic Hanama‘ulu designs) while Makana Medeiros was more interested in showing off the catepillars to Sanoe Keliinoe who is home from Kamehameha Schools.

More kudos to Kaua‘i coach Carrie Naka‘ahiki Young and the Kaua‘i High School athletic department for doing a great job with the KIF cheer competition. Aunty Janet Kahalekomo had to come in red after wearing ‘Ele‘ele School gold at the Hanapepe Town Park Christmas tree decorating event.
